Competition
The competition usually takes place on the Wednesday afternoon prior the CED/PER-IADR congress.
Usually, the CED-IADR competition jury consists of 3 members (from which at least 1 is a CED-IADR Board Member) specialised in different scientific fields. The CED-IADR Office ensures that the jury members have no conflict of interest with any of the competitors.
Each jury member receives an individual score sheet, which they are to complete individually and independently. Upon completion, the score sheets are collected by the Chair of the CED-IADR Awards & Grants, who will calculate the average score of the 3 jury members. In the next stage, the award winners are selected.
Judging Criteria (equally rated):
- Overall study impact
- Materials & methods
- Presentation/poster design
